I would like to use openwrt on my nas, but i get only trash over my serial connection with the latest Firmware 2000.1331, is there any way to make the output readable??
Usually, if you see garbage on the serial output, it is the result of incorrect serial configuration and/or voltages (also an incorrect or unstable ground connection). If you're using RS232, that will not work - you need 3.3v ttl. Make sure you've got your configuration (and voltage) as follows:
(115200,8,N,1), 3.3V TTL
