Script for Arcadyan Aw1000 to reboot if 4g/5g modem hang

Wondering if there's such a script that detects if 4g/5g connection failures then reboot modem?
Basically it's a auto ping script that loop every 1 minute to detects if 4g/5g is offline then auto reboot itself...
Would really appreciate if there's such a script available...

However, I doubt, that this will be a full solution to your problem, whatever it is in detail. I am always very sceptical, when somebody posts THE solution to his problem here. Especially, when it is so simple to implement THE solution yourself, by creation of a short shell script.

Thanks.. Am a total zero in scripts therefore really appreciate your replied link to my problem. Will try it out and set in the local open script to run... Thanks a million.

There is a package from @IceG https://github.com/4IceG/luci-app-lite-watchdog
Together with other packages like 3g-lite , modemband or SMS Messages are must-have tools on openwwrt with modem https://github.com/4IceG/Modem-extras
Works with AW1000 very well.

Thanks.. Hopefully I can do it right otherwise scared my router will turn brick :kissing_heart::sweat_smile:

Thanks, I had managed to find the ping test area and it's working fine.. Once it detected ping test failure to get response within time frame and the modem will restart / reboot... It really saves me much troubles and time just to get it restarted each morning after the modem fails.... It's working fine now... Loving this group / forum.:heart_eyes:
