Hi recently bought a Samsung Zflip4 for usb tethering internet to my router which is a netgear wnr2200. The issue is that even after installing necessary usb drivers following https://openwrt.org/docs/guide-user/network/wan/smartphone.usb.tethering the samsung phone usb was not detected. i checked in Dmesg too. It is showing up as usb registered but i dont see usb in interfaces list
You've done https://www.verizon.com/support/knowledge-base-302635/, right ?
If the problem persist even after tethering is enabled as @frollic pointed out, show the output of
cat /sys/kernel/debug/usb/devices
root@OpenWrt:~# cat /sys/kernel/debug/usb/devices

I had usb tethering set as default USB configuration...after your message i checked the settings it was showing up as disabled...i am continuing to troubleshoot
Got the issue...It was the cables i was using...Tried a few different cables based on suggestions and one worked. The issue can be marked resolved now. Thanks for the support
