Samba error: hostname is not ours

I have configured a Samba share on an external drive, with a newly created user and group. It works and I can write to the share from remote. But the system log has a bunch of these log entries. What can it be? I connect to the share by IP address, not DNS name openwrt.local.
I cannot find any entry for hostname in /etc/samba/smb.conf or any other place where samba hostname is configured.
