Rtl8812au wifi stick on Archer C7 v2

I have problems to run a ASUS USB-AC56 usb wifi stick with realtek 8812au in station mode.

At home on my TP-Link C2600 I am shure, I could make a scan over luci webinterface.

Now on a Archer C7 v2 with ath79 target it is not possible any more. I don't get any results.

I installed the same kmod-rtl8812au-ct package - but now for ath79/mips_24kc.

I tried to do a manual scan from command line, how it is written there: https://openwrt.org/faq/how_to_scan_for_wireless_networks

And also - when I get the list of devices with iw dev I can read, that phy1 and phy2 has the devices I added to the onboard cards.

Any idea what can be wrong? Badly I can't check back on the C2600, because it is on a different location and I am for 2 weeks to fare away from it.

OpenWRT Version is always up to date with 19.07.3

Today I could get access to a other TP-Link C2600. I expected a power issue with USB, because the Archer C7 has only USB 2.0 and the C2600 has USB 3.0.

The Stick has USB 3.0 - but is advertised as backward compatible.

But on the C2600 I also cant scan the network.
And least I spotted now in the logread output, the following error:
