Hello, I have a RTL8153 adapter which after installing kmod-usb-net-rtl8152 package for driver works fine while setting static IP on this interface.
But when I want to use it with PPPoE, it starts flapping like in the image
What could be the issue?

Update, tested on different USB ports, and same problem happens
The pppoe driver will restart the port if it cannot negotiate and complete the pppoe link. That is about a 5 second retry cycle though. The system log (logread) will have more detail. Only certain events are broadcast to the console.
The pppoe link does complete, since I can see that I got public IP for a couple of seconds or minutes before it flaps again
Any suggestions?
