Yes, that's basically it. If you install luci-app-uhttpd as well you can easily change the directory served via HTTP to be the directory where you mouned the pendrive.

Sorry, one last question.

I'm wondering if more content on the USB would lead to degraded performance from the GL.iNet GL-AR150 router? The wiki says I can add a USB drive of any size, but I wasn't sure if there were tradeoffs involved.

The degradation in performance would be because of more requests coming in, not because of the size.
