Which router has a very good coverage. C7 or R7800 ? or is there a better one ?
This isn't really a competition, the r7800 with qca9984 will win this match against any c7 hands down.

Do anybody know which router has the best coverage for a big house. (I do not want a mesh system)
Trying to cover a large area or a large number of users from one point doesn't work real well. The best solution for a large house is multiple APs with wired backhaul to a main router.

r7800 plus some nice mesh devices
R7800 is a very old Router.
not as old as some folks here
