Router supported by snapshot

I bought my router partly because I wanted to install OpenWRT on it at some point and it is supported by the snapshot build. I'm new to the project so I'm not sure what the release timeframe is. Is there an ETA for when the current snapshot gets a stable build? I tried to find a newbie category and couldn't find one so I apologise about that.

The router is the Asus BT8.

Q1 next year, give or take.

The main goal for the next major release is the bump to kernel 6.12. It is only begining for selected targets, more will come and it will take a lot of time and work. Based on experience from previous versions, yes Q1 2006 is a good estimate.

Thank you both very much! I appreciate it.

You can track here, and maybe do testing on your device when it gets added to speed things along...

Thank you!

I'm monitoring progress of the targets for my devices, and I'm planning to do tests. I have took part in some in the past. I have secondary and spare devices which I can use for testing.

I compiled (for the first time) a 6.12 image and flashed it on one of my access points - see Ramips: Add support for 6.12 kernel version - #5 by ed8
Thus far this pre-snapshot build is running well.
