This was a statement about how old the MT7621 is. I wasn't trying to say that 1 GHz was some magical number that guarantees some performance metric. So I'm not sure what you meant to say with your reply.

What are you basing this statement upon? I gave you honest feedback here that the overall operation of the MT6000 is solid:

If you run the latest stable release on it, you'll be fine. The "serious problems" I assume you're referring to are, as I noted previously, very likely related to those of us who enjoy running snapshot (bleeding edge style) builds. Of course there will be bugs there. It's a risk you have to assume if you like being on the edge. If you want stable, run 23.05.3 and enjoy.

In the end, I don't care if you get an MT6000. It's no skin off my back, frankly. But making statements that the MT6000 has "serious problems", especially with no supporting data or first-hand experience, is misleading, IMHO.
