Router for my minimal needs

Hey, apologies for the somewhat basic & rambly post but it seems like majority of the suggestions/reviews here are for mostly for the niche & over-qualified features when it comes to these devices and not the basics. I would like to request a router for my home that costs under $200 that has atleast 1 LAN & 1 WAN port (LAN preferably @ 2.5Gbit) along with supporting Wireguard, Wifi-6, 2.4 & 5GHz bands, and a m.2 or sata slot for hooking up a SSD to use as a NAS.

I was considering getting the OpenWrt One but I would prefer to have a 2.5Gbit connection for LAN as I'll have 6 cameras hooked up over ethernet (Router wont be doing the encoding, so no overkill CPU necessary) along with the fact that the OpenWrt One is out of stock on aliexpress which makes me a little apprehensive as I don't know how long I'll have to wait, I was also considering getting the BPI-R4 even though it's quite overkill as that seems to meet all of my needs but I dislike that it doesn't come with a wifi card & has no official support along with having a high TDP. I've also considered the GL.iNet GL-MT6000 and it seems like the best choice for me at the moment but I'm not too certain having the NAS drive over usb would be the best choice.

I would like to mention that this will be my first experience with OpenWrt but I've dealt with linux for years at my workplace so I'm comfortable doing some setup but I would prefer for it to just be plug & play.

How do you describe 2.5 GB + m.2 slot as "minimal"?

MT-6000 is currently the likely all-around champ in the wifi6 OpenWrt world, and fulfills easily all your other requirements, but does not have M.2/SATA.

I suggest that you keep router as router and have a separate real NAS in any case.

I agree, unless you can buy from EU, and grab the Zyxel T-56.

Ah, you're right, saw the 4gb+ ddr4 routers and thought it made all of my needs look minimal

Well that was simple, was just needing a little something to push me over to purchasing it. Just to verify, I should be able to just plug this into my ONT (Calix GP1100X) with no issues? I really do apologize for the noobish questions but I would just like to confirm.

No idea about your ont/modem features, but if it provides a normal internet with DHCP, you should be fine.

Unless your ISP did lock the ONT down you should be fine.
