Router Doesn´t boot

Am struggling to get my router back to life since it has been on the shelve for a while due to no time for further investigations, i would like to get this one back online.
Problem is that my router doesn´t want to continue with it´s boot sequence seems, however i can´t enable the boot menu in order to flash the firmware via serial.

Is there anyone who can point me in the right direction to wake this thing up?.
PS: whatever i try i can´t access the "operation" during boot, where you need to press a number in order to select System code/ Boot system or Load Boot loader, whatever i try i do not see my typed selection neither a response form the router while the LED on my TTL converter is flashing and local echo is forced to ON in Putty, i can see the numbers when typing in Putty but router doesn´t respond

It would help to know which router we are talking about.
Have you tried a different terminal program?

It´s a COMSET CM685VX 5G router, and no i haven´t tried a differnet terminal program yet as i worked with Putty in the past on this modem and that worked.

I'm afraid, but this device is not supported by OpenWrt. The firmware that is failing to boot is some unknown vendor firmware and you need to contact the vendor with regard to this problem.

Regarding U-Boot, I would re-check all cabling, especially the computer's TX line. And I would try a different terminal program. I would also try to press the "4" key repeatedly (don't keep it pressed), starting even before the message appears.
