Hello Everyone,
I've got some routers from BQ (old company) that already disappeared from the market.
They used this interface:
That's from OpenWRT, but this firmware is so limited, there is no option to delete nothing, and it's impossible to change WiFi settings (only 80 MHz).
What are the best ways to unlock this piece of technology, because it uses good hardware, but it's everything locked...
Thanks for everything,
Luis

Can you get boot log? (In OpenWRT Status/Logs)
Site where you would download firmware update?
SSH access?
Hello,
No bootlog option...
There is no website to download firmware updates now...
No SSH access too

we don't know, you own the devices, we don't.
you could consider sending one to an openwrt dev, in exchange for getting it supported, assuming it's supportable.
Thanks @eduperez
well, another company that scapes with out punishment.
So far I can't, but I am trying to, I did and Nmap wich outputs this:
nmap -A 192.168.1.1
MAC Address: B4:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX (BQ)
Device type: WAP
Running: Linux 3.X|4.X
OS CPE: cpe:/o:linux:linux_kernel:3.18 cpe:/o:linux:linux_kernel:4.1
OS details: OpenWrt Chaos Calmer 15.05 (Linux 3.18) or Designated Driver (Linux 4.1 or 4.4)
Network Distance: 1 hop
but the openwrt seems to have been modified so I don't know h…

Try these URL-s (and show the address displayed, it is tough to guess what youre hiding.
/cgi-bin/luci/admin/status/logs
/cgi-bin/luci/admin/system/startup
/cgi-bin/luci/admin/status/processes
That's a good idea...
Where can I find an OpenWRT Dev ?

In the mirror, since you have that unique device. We now work hard to identify unsupportable devices so you do not waste effort eventually.
Log from nmap:
So, it's supported, right?
Always redirects to Page not found

unless you want to remove the heat sinks, you'll need serial console access.
