Rootfs won't mount as rw automatically (x86, ext4)

hi, I am running OpenWrt on an x86 machine with an ext4 image, I recently had a power outage that caused some issues with the filesystem (not the first time) as usual I ran e2fsck to fix it which it did but now after each reboot, I have to remount the /dev/sda2 as rw manually

what can cause such an issue and how can I fix it?

Dmesg should say...

sorry for the late reply the only thing I found was this

EXT4-fs (sda2): mounted filesystem without journal. Opts: (null)
[ 4.297012] VFS: Mounted root (ext4 filesystem) readonly on device 8:2.

another update when i ran block-detect it shows my sda2 is mounted at /rom not /

but in luci mount points it shows it's mounted as file system
