Hi

Root cause analysis: I got WiFi, but I can't access my router (ssh, https), my Desktop got 169.254.x.x IP

Thanks god all my changes from LuCi I did in git:

This change broke it:

firewall.@rule[10]=rule
firewall.@rule[10].target='REJECT'
firewall.@rule[10].proto='all'
firewall.@rule[10].src_ip='192.168.x.x' '192.168.x.x'
firewall.@rule[10].src_mac='x' 'x'
firewall.@rule[10].name='Block-Youtube-Access'
firewall.@rule[10].dest_ip='187.189.89.77/16'
firewall.@rule[10].stop_time='18:00:00'
firewall.@rule[10].start_time='21:00:00'
firewall.@rule[10].dest='wireguard'
firewall.@rule[11]=rule
firewall.@rule[11].proto='all'
firewall.@rule[11].name='Block-HP-Printer-Internet'
firewall.@rule[11].src_ip='192.168.x.x'
firewall.@rule[11].dest='wireguard'
firewall.@rule[11].target='REJECT'
firewall.@rule[11].src_mac='x'

after I removed that, everything was back normal.

Now my questions for learning: what is wrong with those rules?

I wish to allow Youtube only between 18:00 - 21:00 on two devices.

Thanks, but this was not my root cause. I also coudn't connect to HTTPS interface and with SSH.

After I removed the quoted FW rule everything back normal.

Hi, I guess you lock out yourself. It would be enough to include/exclude mac address in the rule.
Where did you get that firewall config?
