I Think we are a lot of people running this Xiaomi router and we are a little curious about the future for this thing.
Can someone tell us or estimate if it will be some kind of stable release and when. Are we talking about days, weeks, month or ….not

What exactly do you mean?
For now the new target ipq807x is in master and i'm pretty sure, if the new Stable release is announced, it will be in there.
But e.g. for me it works now for month "stable" in "production".
