Anyone successful with a build and or install for the Reyee RG-E5 V2?

I haven't had a chance to tear it down yet but i have a sneak suspicion it is still meditek like v1 as it is running a custom version of OpenWrt like v1 (luci interface when you go to the router config page. The only FCC infor I can find does not mention versions, though I am trying to dig deeper. https://fcc.id/2AX5J-E5
Their factory firmware also has no defined differences, one download and I did update it to their latest version. I mean I spent $40 I could just risk it with the v1 OpenWrt firmware. Just thought i would ask if anyone had experience with it.

This is the message I got back from the manufacturer...

My Question, "Could you tell me the difference between the RG-E5 (E5 AX3200 Mesh Wi-Fi 6 Router) Version 1 and Version 2? For example are the firmware files compatible with with both? Any information on the differences would be appreciated"

Both versions supports the latest firmware, the main difference is on the hardware of each one.
