Retrieve list of all targets/devices

I would like to retrieve a list of all current targets and devices supported by OpenWRT from the table of hardware. Is there a preferred method (API) or will I need to scrape this information? Are there any developers that are more familiar with this project that can provide the most reliable source of this information?
