Restricting devices using Adblock

Hi all,

I'm trying to separate the rest of my network that uses adblock from my tv-decoder that currently uses adblock too. The reason is that the decoder has an Youtube-app that seems to conflict with adblock. After every couple video's, the app keeps buffering the next vid and stays there indefinitely. I think it's because it's supposed to show an ad, since the problem only occurs when adblock is enabled. Youtube keeps playing on browsers (pc, phone. even when adblock is enabled.

Which brings me to my question: how do?
I know I can use VLANs, create different interfaces and whatnot, but I can't seem to connect the dots on how to exactly set everything up. Also, I don't have alot of room to f*ck around with my whole network and figure it out with trail and error, since the wifey can't really appreciate our internet going down every half hour because of me trying to fix things lol.

Appreciate the help!

Just configure the tv-decoder to use other DNS servers. This example isolates a device to use custom DNS servers:

Hope this helps.
