Request to release Openwrt for Ruijie Ew3000gx Pro

I Purchased Ruijie Ew3000gx Pro. But there is no openwrt build for it. Ruijie confirmed that, this router is running linux based system. So this router will support Openwrt. But there is no Developer. Sadly.

Follow this
https://openwrt.org/docs/guide-developer/add.new.device

Didn't Understood. From this url, can I request for a Openwrt build?

You have to follow that link for how to add a new device to Openwrt.
Rujiee has perviosuly released Openwrt version of it's firmware for community to use but you need to request it.
If they release that firmware for this device too it will be a lot easier for the developers to start working on it.

I talked with Ruijie, and requested for non-modified verson of Openwrt for this device. They refused to give me that.

Am I missing something obviously?

EDIT: I was...

3200 And 3000. Both are different

Mine one is 3000gx pro. Not 3200Gx pro.

Ah, high age makes you blind(er)....

Mediatek, at least it should be supportable.

Brother, can you explain?

I found 2 Cpu in router.
For 2.4Ghz MT7981
for 5Ghz MT7976DAN

That's the radios, not the SoC, the SoC is on the photos in the link I posted.

I didn't understood. :slightly_smiling_face:

Can you Tell me in simple way. Is this router will support Openwrt? Or anyone can devlope?

Anyone means you...
All new routers gets included into OpenWrt by somebody who actually has the router so that he can test it when he authors the necessary definitions into OpenWrt. In this case it is likely you...

Based on above discussion, it should be supportable in theory, but somebody (you) will need to investigate the hardware, author the definitions and test them. Then the code can be proposed to be merged into OpenWrt via git pull request.

I am ready to help. But I don't have knowledge to Build a firmware.

I can be a volunteer. But can anyone help me? Like I can test the firmware he made, or In anyway.

Does this device's firmware have a way for you to log in via ssh? Can the device boot a firmware via tftp into ram? Does the device have a serial header inside? What are the exact hardware specs: CPU/SoC, RAM, Flash storage, ethernet, wifi, leds...

With some luck, this could be answered by the FCC photos.

What Should I do now? Advice me Please.
