Would it be possible to request dnscrypt-proxy2 2.1.15 to be ported to 24.10 from master? Also, porting to 25.12 would be nice as well. There is a nice change in 2.1.15 that is desirable.
The proxy now dynamically reduces timeouts as the connection limit is approached, improving performance and preventing connection exhaustion under heavy load.
I am not quite yet comfortable enough to backport this myself, but that is my goal.
You should ask the maintainer (who is the maintainer can be found in the makefile)
Ah sorry. I had read for folks that didn’t know how to backport themselves that they could make those requests here in the forums. Thank you. I have emailed the maintainer.
The maintainer has backported it to 25.12, but is unable to backport to 24.10. Backporting to 24.10 requires testing which the maintainer is unable to do.
