It wouldn’t be in mine in the U.S., either, but I got lucky on eBay (see “the entertaining part” of my opening post; the device was listed by a seller who mostly sells porcelain figurines; when I got the device, it had WHAT IS THIS? written on the box, so I surmise the seller simply wanted it out of their storeroom). Since then, I got (and did a brief write-up of) a Check Point V-80W from a seller who deals mostly in vintage vinyl records. Technology moves in mysterious ways…
