[Report] Attended Sysupgrade on TP_Link Archer C7 V4 and WFR4300 V1 - possible bug?

Hello friends, how are you?

I'm just reporting to you that between yesterday and today, I used the Attended Sysupgrade tool on my routers mentioned above and both stopped booting correctly after the update was performed correctly...

To give you more details that may help, in case there is no case already mentioned, my routers were using version 23.05.0 with extroot...

Ok, the tool downloaded the latest version (24.10.1) and updated it and the routers stopped booting correctly.

This morning (I'm in Brazil), I studied the case better and realized that when I removed the USB stick with extroot, the routers booted correctly.

I have no problem redoing the extroot configuration, as I said, it's just a report that maybe no one has reported yet.

I plan to redo extroot during the day and in that time, I don't know if there would be any troubleshooting that I can try to do.

Bye!

extroot can not sysupgrade, you must sysupgrade from failsafe and redo extroot setup.

Thanks @brada4

I confess that I didn't have this knowledge, so I ran sysupgrade "without mercy", and I thought it could be a bug and not a feature, as per your instructions above.
Anyway, I've already redone the extroot configurations and they are operational again.
Thanks again.
