Usually when using quotes, you would paste exactly that the output says. If this is the output, I agree it's a stupid error.
I assume it said you need 600 MiB or MB more space?
You provide no information on the drive, the file size, its free space, etc. Also, knowing the actual error text, where you saw it, etc. would be extremely helpful.
Additionally, were you copying a file to or from the share?
