Hi, since some point already before the first official snapshot, the Wifi has not been working on AX6. Last year (2022) builds from @robimarko's repo worked. I cannot really say from which build it stopped working (I switched to the current snapshot now, after some time with the last year's build).
It does not matter if it is in the AP mode, or the client mode. In the AP mode, the wifi seems on, but no device can find it, not even when I try to connect to a „hidden“ network with the wifi's SSID and password. Outside the AP mode, I can do at least wifi scan (although, it does not show 160 MHz bandwidth wifi networks correctly – shows them only as 80 MHz). When I do the scan whith AP mode on, it shows only the "local interface" and no other wifi network.
When I try to connect in the Client mode, it shows connected, but no connection goes through really, the RX is significantly lower, and the theoretical speed of the wifi connection in the wireless tab – RX rate – is like 10 times lower than the TX rate. Both routers are ax 160MHz. (All works on a last year's build and the stock build)
I didn't notice any error or reasonable explanation in the system log.
Does anyone have a clue what is wrong with Redmi AX6 and wifi? Does anyone have a the same problem?
