Redirect/forward self-hosted internally

I have a self-hosted Nextcloud server and i was wondering if there is a way when i am connected to my local network and request nextcloud.example.com the OpenWRTwill redirect all request to e.g 192.168.1.123

Mostly i want to implement this because when i put large new files at Nextcloud folder it take long time to upload it, thats why i want all somehow redirect the traffic.

I tried to add at /etc/hosts
192.168.1.123 nextcloud.example.com

But it didnt work, the upload speed was my internet speed and not the Gigabit network speed

maybe a typo here... but you list 192.168.1.123 in the initial description, and then 192.168.10.123 for what you implemented. Maybe start there -- check to see if there is a typo in your post or in your actual configuration.

Didn't work and slow upload speed are two different things... can you be more specific? How did you test? Do you have a control test that works as expected?

Yes it was a typo mistake, i edit first post.

When i said didn't work i mean the upload speed was my internet speed and not the network speed.
