Recommendations for a good router development board... BPI-R2?

I looking for recommendations for a good SBC router development board. I've been looking at the Banana Pi BPI-R2 and the Banana Pi BPI-R2 Pro (when released). Any thoughts?

Any recommendations would be great.

I use a BPI-M1 with a smart switch on VLAN35 for 50/10 VDSL. This board runs cool. After kmod-usb-net-r8152 module is installed, I can use a TP-Link UE300 as the WAN port instead of the smart switch.
The CPU core (1 of 2used) never goes above 20% while testing bufferbloat on dslreports. I get 40MB/sec transfer speed to a connected SSD, using the SATA connector. This board does not have wifi.
