Recent version forced dumb-AP?

Hi, im really noob on networking,

in lede i can connect my POE modem in WAN just like a usb modem dongle, openwrt device work as router, LAN clients ( 192.168.2.XXX ) can access POE modem gui / WAN ( 192.168.1.1 ) and also can access router GUI ( 192.168.2.1 ).
but in recent version of openwrt i can't do it anymore, if i connect my POE modem, the router loses its ip, like dumb ap, can't access 192.168.2.1 anymore.

what i'm doing wrong ?

the router and the POE modem both use the 192.168.1. subnet ?

i.e your router have changed it's IP from 192.168.2 to 192.168.1

(just guessing though :wink: )
