(RE305) custom Image, for space disk

Hello everyone :slight_smile:

I have a TP-link RE305 which would serve as a mesh access point
I use WRT stock image "23.05.0-ramips-mt76x8-tplink_re305-v3-squashfs-factory.bin"
I need the “wpad-mesh-openssl” packet to create my mesh network.
just installing this package with the dependencies requires 2.19MB and I don't have enough space!!!

Do you think I could uninstall certain packages that would not be necessary for my mesh so that I can
install "wpad-mesh-openssl"

i have see i can make a custom image, with this packet include, but what packet can i remove for have the good space disk

don't install it, custom build it using https://firmware-selector.openwrt.org/?version=23.05.2&target=ramips%2Fmt76x8&id=tplink_re305-v3

remove the other wpad, and everything ppp* to start with.

not sure if it'll give you the space you need, though.
