RBM11G - Serial Port Interface communication Issue

Hi,
I have had no issues connecting to the RBM33G serial port for monitoring and control. I use Putty along with a WaveShare serial to USB interface.

I can only get gibberish back from the RBM11G when connecting the serial interface. I feel like I have tried every configuration, software and hardware connection, possible.

Has anyone had any success with the RBM11G serial interface and what were the parameters you used to connect?

What pins or connector are you using?

2, 6, and 7. I have even tried these in every configuration

which connector on the board and which serial to USB interface?

This is the Interface

this is the connector - this is not my image

That matches my notes. Once the converter is set 3.3v TTL (UART) everything should work.

Yes looks like you should use port A with the voltage switch set to 3.3. Do a loopback test of the converter by connecting the TX and RX wires together (not to the router) and test that whatever you type in the terminal echoes back. When you break the connection you should not see what you type.

As I had used Serial 232 on the RBM33G, I used this to attempt to connect to the RBM11G - required TTL - thank you all for your help!!
