RB911G-5HPacD Unable to see WiFi only LAN

Hi I have a Mikrotik RB911G-5HPacD and I have the latest stable release on it, but I am not able to see the WiFi interface under Interfaces. I can only see the LAN interface.

The RB911G-5HPacD seems like a great wifi AC board and it's been out for a while now. Is there someone who has gotten the wifi interface to show and work on this board? I really could use some help.

Thanks,

John

Some Mikrotik images are very generic and doesn't contain any wifi drivers/firmwares...

I suggest you to install pciutils and check which wifi hw you have attached in your board.
Then depending on your hw install the needed drivers and firmware.
Checkout the available packages for ath9k and ath10k on a ssh session with:
opkg update >/dev/null && (opkg list | grep ath9k ; opkg list | grep ath10k)

I know the board uses a QCA9882 5ghz radio. lspci returns nothing. the output of
opkg list | grep ath9k ; opkg list | grep ath10k
returns:
https://pastebin.com/WAGZiDDR
Sorry had to use pastebin because this board is limiting

I also tried:

root@OpenWrt:~# lsmod | grep -i ath10
ath 18240 4 ath9k,ath9k_common,ath9k_hw,ath10k_core
ath10k_core 381072 1 ath10k_pci
ath10k_pci 30544 0
cfg80211 221904 5 ath9k,ath9k_common,ath10k_core,ath,mac80211
mac80211 443360 2 ath9k,ath10k_core

Any other ideas?

Seems you have the needed drivers installed...
Probably missing the right firmware.
Can you post the output of dmesg after a fresh boot?

Thanks,

I'll send a patch tomorrow to check something.
I'm pretty sure it's related to caldata extraction.

I doubt it is. The driver doesn't even load.

The empty output here doesn't bode well. Failed detection script? That may explain the undetected hardware.
Was there a previous version of OpenWRT working on the device or is this a new flash?

No previous version of OpenWRT ever worked on this (nor had been flashed). I flashed only the version referenced on this page:
