Raspberry Pi CM4 - Wifi not working, driver issue?

Good evening,

I've been trying to set up an Access Point on an RPi CM4 with a DFRobot router board. It gets running and is visible to other devices, but when I try to connect they hang and eventually drop the connection.

In the System Log, this message is generated after each connection attempt:
Thu Jun 9 17:54:03 2022 kern.err kernel: [ 1031.470598] ieee80211 phy0: brcmf_p2p_send_action_frame: Unknown Frame: category 0x8a, action 0x6
which seems to be an issue with the driver for brcmfmac43456, is there something that can be done?

Best regards

Hi Poi,

Did you solve this error? Just seeking any guidance on where to look.

I am having an issue with the same error:
brcmf_p2p_send_action_frame: Unknown Frame: category 0x8a, action 0x6

Different hardware here though, using the Asus RT-AC88U (which has 2x BCM4366E) with OpenWrt 22.03.2 r19803-9a599fee93.

(Have tried upgrading to the latest 22.05 however can't even get this to boot as there is talk about incompatible broadcom drivers)

Any help appreciated

Thanks,

Matt
