Raspberry Pi 3 B and Alfa AC600 USB Wifi Adapter

I have setup my Pi using OpenWrt 21.02.2 r16495-bf0c965af0 / LuCI openwrt-21.02 branch git-22.046.85957-59c3392
I have also added 2x Aflfa AC600 (AWUS036ACS) WiFi adapters
I cannot see these two Wifi adapters in the WRT interface.
I am attempting to setup

  • One of these to be my WAN uplink for use with Public WiFi Internet Access in RV Park
  • The other for a private WiFi SSID for my families devices.
When I get into the WRT interface, I do not see these two USB WiFi devices. I have seen reports of others who have use these USB Adapters but I cant find out how they enabled them.

Realtek USB wireless is among the worst choices for running OpenWrt.

That doesn't answer my question about how to install support for it in the WRT OS
