I managed to install openwrt 23.05.5 on the Xiaomi AX3000T following the guide online. I have modified to have a static IP as well as disabled the DHCP and firewall, following the Bridged AP over Ethernet instructions. As the location of this device is different from where I was configuring it, I had to switch it of and move. However, this procedure seems to make the device return to the default settings and the conflict of it with my well established and organised OPNSense router brings the whole system down and I am unable to access either until the XIAOMI is turned down and I reboot my OPNSense. It is a nightmare. Did anyone have the same issue? Should I think my device is bugged somehow and needs replacement? I tried to create a failsafe setting without success. Any help would be appreciated.
When you login to luci, does it mention that it is in initramfs mode?
Did you follow step 5 in the flashing instructions and flash the sysupgrade.bin?

Yes, I did upgrade to sysupgrade. However, i just noticed that the version changed from the one I donwloaded before. Now , the recommended is the 24.10.0. At the time I downloaded the 23.05.0 from the Techdata: Xiaomi Mi Router AX3000T page. I will try that later this afternon.
Thanks
