Hello, this post is more of a follow-up to a previous post of mine (Random disconnections and immediate reconnections).
In that post, I said that the issue got fixed. However, it only got fixed for a couple of weeks. Recently, the issue has appeared again and with no improvement whatsoever. Now even my laptop sometimes disconnects, not just my father's laptop.
In the router system logs, the message "[device information] deauthenticated due to inactivity (timer DEAUTH/REMOVE)" appears when one of the devices gets disconnected from the router's network.
Looking at the wireless results from before you did not have the country assigned.
Is it still 'driver default' on both radios?
Oh, I didn't know what that was. Just researched it, and now I set both 5ghz and 2.4 ghz networks to my country's country code (it indeed was driver default)
Update: When I set my country to both networks, I lost internet connection after restart. Now I switched the country back to driver default in order to get internet back. I live in the UAE (Country code: AE).
So you could still get to the router but not the internet?
Yeah, I was able to connect to the router network, but there was no internet.
Ensure the router has the correct local time: System/General Settings set the time zone and then sync the time.
Then set the country to the correct country and save & apply all of it.
The router already has the time synced and the correct time zone set.
Well, the country needs to be correct too; you cannot just leave it undefined while troubleshooting.
The country code will have no affect on ethernet; so set it all correctly and if wireless fails tell me what happens using ethernet. If it works using ethernet but not wireless continue using ethernet and reply.
Can't do that right now. Will do tomorrow and reply with the information.
