I was having a problem with not being able to use the full eMMC space and finally came across this.

My question is, does this code ever change with openwrt updates or is it a long term reliable method of regaining the space using either the code + command or the automated command.
I decided to try this.
I copied both codes to /etc/uci-defaults and added the sysupgrade.conf file.
So far, when I sysupgrade, once the device reboots, it seems to have the full space available.
Is this an ok way of doing it so that this is permanently using all the space?
As long as the commands work, it should be fine. Worst case you will not have the full partiotion available on first boot.
