May I ask for a version for WXR-2533DHP (Qualcomm Atheros IPQ8064)?
Thanks
9 days uptime on my own build and so far all devices still available
Nice job @BrainSlayer if that issue is really gone now
That was easy, cheers.
If anyone else needs to build with kmods you need to replace the settings in .config with config.buildinfo from releases before you add the kmods in "make menuconfig"
Edit: My MT7921 works again but it only gets 4 mbits down from WAN compared to 300-400 mbit on stock openwrt. I can still iperf3 to my firewall locally at that speed. I'm thinking it's probably some kind of compatibility issue with NSS.
Edit2: Fixed it, just had to run "ethtool -K phy2-ap0 tx-checksumming off" to exclude the Mediatek adapter from NSS. I'll add that to my startup scripts and we should be good.

How do I find which commit I'm using after building a firmware? Also how come some firmwares comes with apk and some come with opkg?
I'm building my firmwares based off Qosmio repo.
Update: never mind I found the build info right at the landing page
No, STA/client mode fails with both NSS firmware 11.4 and 12.2.
AW1000 Reboot Loop Issue with QMI Connection
My device is an AW1000, and I built the firmware using the latest code from the main-nss
branch of the Qosmio project.
I then used the FUjr_modem_feeds project to drive my 5G module.
However, it seems that once the wwan0
connection is established, a kernel panic occurs, causing the device to loop in this state. When I switch the dialing mode to MBIM, this issue does not occur, but of course, there is no NSS support in that case.
The specific kernel log is as follows:

Hi @AgustinLorenzo - does your builds supports mesh?
Hello Agustin, thanks for your build. Could you also add Linksys MX5300? This is a higher-tier version of MX4200 and many people including me got a very good deal recently.
I have the same issue on main-nss, also with ath11k_pci
Just a warning to anyone who may decide to use the new experimental wifi-scripts: add ucode based scripts.
Radio0 (5GHz) doesn't start on my NSS build.
Radio1 (2.4GHz) works.

@rmandrad I saw this issue that was closed as resolved. Did you try it with your NSS build?
Hi @zzz1322,
For the next version I will add MX4300 and MX5300
Regards, Agustin
FYI: I am redoing the repos
Hi, my issue is gone after I change the init scripts, you may check my later post for details
@sppmaster no I haven't tried on qualcommax. That issue was resolved ... there were a few fixes for it but since then i haven't tried it.
Hi boys,
This version include NSS offload for WiFi
I am redo the repos over the latest commit from OpenWRT.
Changelog (include upstream of OpenWRT):
- Updated kernel and NSS software to version 6.6.69.
- Updated hostapd to version “2025-01-01”, for more info: https://github.com/openwrt/openwrt/pull/17423
- Increased UDP packet timeout to correct erratic behavior of HTTP3 protocol, for more info: https://github.com/openwrt/openwrt/pull/17334
- Added the following devices to the build: Linksys MX4300 and Linksys MX5300. @zzz1322 @wmd @dandelionclock
- WARNING: Remember that the following services are disabled at first startup: mwan3, sqm, mesh11sd (only mesh build) you have to re-enable them from: Luci -> System -> Startup.
Notes:
- Compilation is performed with the following limits for ath11k (512M) and NSS (NSS_MEM_PROFILE_HIGH) and pbuf set to auto by default.
- The build is compiled with GCC 13.3.
- The default TCP congestion protocol is CUBIC.
- By default, the radio0 (IoT) is off (you can enable in LUCI) and the radio 1 (2.4 GHz) y 2 (5 GHz) is on.
- The default country code for the WiFi is USA to avoid problems with 160 MHZ because it does not work if it does not have a specified country code.
- I have posted on my Github all the workarounds used in this build: https://github.com/AgustinLorenzo/openwrt/issues/5 (english) and https://github.com/AgustinLorenzo/openwrt/issues/6 (spanish)
- Guide to upgrade to kernel 6.6 without losing your configuration: https://github.com/AgustinLorenzo/openwrt/issues/9 (english) and https://github.com/AgustinLorenzo/openwrt/issues/8 (spanish)

- Normal build: https://github.com/AgustinLorenzo/openwrt/tree/main_nss
- Mesh build: https://github.com/AgustinLorenzo/openwrt/tree/main_nss_mesh

BUILDED (NORMAL): https://github.com/AgustinLorenzo/openwrt/releases/tag/ipq807x-nsswifi-2025-01-09-1946
BUILDED (MESH BUILD): https://github.com/AgustinLorenzo/openwrt/releases/tag/ipq807x-nsswifi-mesh-2025-01-09-2158
NOTE: Now I only compile the build for the following devices AX3600, AX6, AX9000, Dynalink DL-WRX36, Buffalo WXR-5950AX12, QNAP QHora-301W, Netgear RAX120v2, Arcadyan AW1000, Zyxel NBG7815, Linksys MX4200 (v1 and v2), Netgear SXR80, Netgear SXS80, Spectrum SAX1V1K and Netgear WAX218, Linksys MX4300 and Linksys MX5300 if someone has used my versions with other devices (and it is supported), let me know and I will add it.
I haven't tried meshing with NSS firmware but in plain OpenWrt, I previously use GRETAP tunnel for multiple VLANs with mesh. Here is a video tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WIKwOPwtTJU
@AgustinLorenzo In this build LUCI is showing opkg for software instead of APK
thanks for the Mx5300 build @AgustinLorenzo
Hi boys,
I have prepared a new build (BETA) removing the “preemptive kernel” mode because according to what I have been reading for VPNs (wireguard) running from the router, the performance could be affected.
BUILD (NORMAL): https://github.com/AgustinLorenzo/openwrt/releases/tag/ipq807x-nsswifi-2025-01-12-2031
In addition to the above change, the kernel was updated to version 6.6.71.
If someone can do some tests and tell us about it.

Regards, Agustin
Can you please elaborate on this, what exactly these limitations do? I have been compiling my own builds, but I am noticing memory leaks, to the point that available memory goes down almost to 0 and router reboots.
