I've just tried it but no, there is no 160 MHz on router RX Rate. Only on TX Rate and that looks really strange to me.
Believe me I really don't understand this. I've tried almost all settings (even with resetting the router to default settings) but with FW 2.12 a get 80 MHz cap on RX chain on QNAP.
With older firmware I get 160 MHz on both RX/TX chains.
Also I recently tried a slim NSS-wifi build with Asus AX89 and FW 12.5 + 2.12 and the same client (Motorola smart phone) and it connects at 160 MHz on both chains.
When I have some time I intend to deploy the AX89 as a main router and then compile a slim NSS build for QNAP and then I'll test with it.
I had the same problem with a mediatek wifi7 smartphone.
intel ax has no problem using 100 ch but if i use 36 ch some time (not always) intel ax also has the some problem on RX
The problem with 100ch is the 600 sec that is needed for DFS scan. So much time is insane. Mediatek routers only needs 60 sec. for 160Mhz DFS scan in same environment
edit : i kind of figured it out on my own... i updated all the qca-nss* packages to the latest. i shifted qca-nss-ecm over to 12.5.5 which looked like it had the most recent commits. everything booted and looks like is working fine.
