Qualcommax NSS Build

Ax3600 mesh build doesn't seem to have mesh. Please check.

for what its worth...

on the qnap 301w (which i now have 3 of)... on both the 2.4 and 5.8g interfaces, running a build from roughly may 8th (already with 6.6.30 btw), i do not have any issues with the wifi station stats.

@rmandrad i may be way off, but a displayed tx / rx bitrate of 6mbit is fine no? i get these when ever a device is asleep. in my case since i set cell_density to 3, its 24mbit.

Does not work:

Thank you very much!

With this building in my WRX36 ( Dynalink DL-WRX36 Askey RT5010W IPQ8072A technical discussion - #2860 by jkool702 ) , your Normal build flashed OK with the SysUpgrade image file.

Thank you very much!

thank you @anom3 I never had to setup cell_density (always has been disabled) once I setup to 3 i do get the stats!

happy to see it helped.

again, im not some wifi internals wizard but..

one thing to keep in mind with it set at 3 you may have trouble getting more distant devices to authenticate. what i mean by distant is 'far away from the access point'.

for me, thats not a problem as in my 3 floor home, each floor has an ap.

all that being said to be honest i have never seen it actually make any difference outside of the lowest bitrate an associate device ever shown being 24mbit.

Hi!
I am install openWRT on my ax6.
I have main ax6s as my router and another ax6s as a dump ap (both running openwrt).
I want the ax6 to be a dumb ap aswell.
Should I install the regular openWRT from the wiki or is there a better version with the nss enabled?

Today, the 5Ghz radio went nuts and looked like it got into a crash/restart loop. Clients were connecting and disconnecting constantly. Then, I did see this in the log:

Is this a known issue?

Linksys MX8500 is now supported

its never ending

i am so tempted to order one of these... looks like they are not available in the eu? amazon.com will ship one to me in a week though.

The official master branch after the update to https://github.com/openwrt/openwrt/commit/99636d4dd8d4bda15b9e072d2d92dd5f4ae0580f, no wifi.In addition, the ssh login fails, and the password is incorrect.

time to switch to openssl
imho.. mbedtls's only advantage is size...

I have been using openssl, and after the latest commit of the official master branch update, there is no wifi, and ssh cannot log in, prompting the password error.

if you'are using openssl and openssh, the password error may be related to root user not allowed. If you have access to serial port, open a serial terminal and type
sed -i 's/^#PermitRootLogin prohibit-password/PermitRootLogin yes/' /etc/ssh/sshd_config to allow root access.

The option works. I use the same in my builds. It must be caused by some other thing

Can you provide your menuconfig configuration file?

Can you compile it?

You are building from immortalwrt's repos and packages, not the main repos or qosmio's repos. You need to fix compile or feedback to the developer of this package.
