Qotom Q570G6 (i7-6500U)

Hello,

So i would like some advice whether this is a feasible build for openwrt, i know its overkill etc etc, but would it work with drivers etc?

Qotom G570G6 with the following specs:
Intel 6th Gen Core i7-6500U Skylake Dual Core
6 x Intel I211-AT Gigabit LAN

In addition to this im planning on getting "Compex WLE600VX 802.11ac miniPCI Express Card WIFI"
https://www.pluscom.pl/en/compex-wle600vx-802-11ac-minipci-express-card-wifi-p5057.html

If anyone know of a 3x3 or 4x4 mimo that would work with this Qotom, please say so, i guess it wont work cause it only has space for 2 antennas what i can see.

Thank you, please ask questions if theres more info you need to know

Is that just x86_64? If so: https://downloads.openwrt.org/releases/19.07.3/targets/x86/

Yeah thats just x86_64, thx

How is OpenWRT running on that Qotom G570G6? I am thinking of doing a similar setup.

Hello.
I have less powered Qotom model, a G335G4. It runs very well with the default x86_x64 build, but I use it with a custom build. Despite intensive bandwith use, including a VPN, I have never had a high average load (always < 0.20). Your suggested model has a high-end core i7 which may be overpowered.
I also have the very same Compex WLE600VX which runs fine with ath10k driver.
You could probably install a model 3x3 or 4x4, but you should manually add extra antennas !
