QoSmate: (Yet Another) Quality of Service Tool for OpenWrt

Well possible. With cake and fq_codel such priority tier switching might not be necessary (or it might, best test with your own traffic on youf own link). I always recommend for all such priorisation rules always confirm that these bring (alone or in combination) measurable improvements and if not disable them. Priorisation (especially up-priorisation) works best if performed sparingly, as for every packet treatex to shorter delay other packets will need to be delayed longer or even dropped.

Very likely.... in SQM we recommend 44 or 48 to cover all bases (mostly ATM/AAL5) but on fiber you are very unlikely to actually have that, so 40 sounds like a reasonably safe number.

Recommendations to try for black ops 2 on ps5 ports. I've been playing black ops 2 basically since it came out on the ps5 port, however I noticed it has quite some issues with poor hitreg and laggy connection. I know these issues were also a thing back in the day, and the way these lobbies are connected is via a P2P connection. Currently im running hsfc with pfifo as gamedisc using an average packet size of 128B, Maxdel of 12 and default settings for the rest (fqodel non-gamedisc). Download/upload I put to 400/800 mb/s (I know its weird to use lower download than upload but on Bo7 that seemed to work best for me, router is the flint 2) I put the 3074 udp port to cs5 and this seems to be correct as this tin fills up very quickly. Besides that I also have an open NAT type. I also set my ps5 to the recommended settings, ie VRR, HDR, ALLM etc off, set resolution to 1080p, game mode to default. Using the ps4 version on a dualsense edge. Lastly, I also got a old native 1080p 60Hz benQ gaming monitor instead of an 1440p oled but issues still persist and they are very noticeable. If anyone has some recommendations to try for these p2p connections I would highly appreciate it!
