Qmi wwan dhcp renew time?

OpenWrt 23.05

Is there a way to adjust the WAN DHCP renewal interval? Looks like it's asking for the address to be renewed every hour:

 udhcpc: sending renew to server

Maybe it is forced by the provider but thought I'd ask in case I can adjust it to 12 hours.

Thanks

The ISP sets the renewal period (they decide), udhcpc follows the standards and renews the lease after half of that time.

Hi.
Same as here
Isp renew connection
It's your ISP policy to renew your IP address. 48h/24h/1h. You can't really do anything about it. You may contact your ISP for any improvement.

Thanks. Yep, I thought it might be something set by the server within the lease but was hoping I could change it and request a longer lease in the renewal.
Not really a problem, just clutter in the log file.

In theory ...

My ISP is O2 Germany, I get a public IP.

With my Zyxel LTE4506 router I get a lease time of 7200 secs.

With my Zyxel LTE5388 router I get a lease time of 1200 secs.

Both LTE routers operate in bridge mode, Zyxel calls it IP-Passthrough mode.

Just my observation, I have no explanation for this.
