Qemu-ga package missing for x86/generic

Hello,

any reason why https://openwrt.org/packages/pkgdata/qemu-ga seems only available for 64bit on x86 but not 32bit ?

i do some general testing with openwrt on proxmox, and since i'm using x86/generic on real hardware i'm also testing on 32bit system on proxmox.

it would be useful to have qemu-ga for 32bit, as this way proxmox would show the VM IPs in the management interface

kvm kernel support for i386 hosts is currently under discussion for removal (kernel upstream), so I wouldn't expect too much (aside from general purpose distribution pulling the plug from the other end as well).

yes, it makes sense to discontinue kvm support for i386, as i386 only CPUs won't offer hypervisor capability anyway - but how is kvm kernel support related with qemu-guest-agent ?

it's quite common that you want to run ANY legacy gest OS (inlcuding 32bit) on top of hypervisor platforms - and people DO that https://superuser.com/questions/1841131/migration-of-windows-nt-4-from-vmware-to-qemu-fails-because-of-disk-geometry-iss

ah - and i see qemu hast already dropped support for 32 bit HOSTS - but that isn't valid for GUESTS https://www.heise.de/news/QEMU-streicht-den-Support-von-32-Bit-x86-Hosts-8975215.html
