Problem while deleting partition using parted utility

I am trying to delete the partition using the parted utility interactive mode as below

(parted) rm 1
Error: Partition(s) 1 on /dev/sda have been written, but we have been unable to inform the kernel of the change, probably because it/they are in use. As a result, the old partition(s) will remain in use.
You should reboot now before making further changes.
Ignore/Cancel?

Ending up in the above kernel error
Do we have any solution for this
Kernel version i am using is 5.15.137

do what it says, reboot ?

Rebooting does not help ... rebooting corrupts the SSD parition , prioir to rebooting need we need to parition the device again , but since Erase of SSD is incomplete not able to proceed with the partioning

what are you really trying to achieve ?

Need to reformat the SSD. that requires fixing this kernel bug

why not simply dd the new image onto the drive ?

Is the partition in use?

lsblk
NAME MAJ:MIN RM SIZE RO TYPE MOUNTPOINTS
loop0 7:0 0 24.3M 1 loop
sda 8:0 0 64G 0 disk
`-sda1 8:1 0 5G 0 part
sr0 11:0 1 1024M 0 rom
I see it in the lsblk output

Seem it is internally loopmounted

Please use the </> button when pasting cli output, what you just posted is unreadable.

I do not see it as "loop mounted", can you paste the output of "mount", please?
