I thank all my friends who guided me. 
If you could suggest to improve wording in the wiki page to certainly guide first-timers into making combined custom image for TFTP....
no idea where you are, but buying another different 4G device might be cheaper (if you add up time and cost) than getting the old one back on line.
MR200 will also be EOL:ed when openwrt 23.05 is dropped, due to insufficient flash space.

My modem issue is fixed: I reprogrammed the modem's IC BIOS with the Ch341A programmer, and now everything's working.
It cost $6
