Hello,
I set up a TPLink Archer MR200 v1 modem with the OpenWrt operating system. It seems like it was installed, but after setting up the modem, I ran into an issue and now only the antenna lights are on. Friends, please help me out.
you want help based on "only antenna lights are on" ?
stupid counter question: tried the light switch ?
Reset the device, very likely you installed a apackage during setup and ran out of flash space. Or if package ran something you ran put of memory.
https://openwrt.org/docs/guide-user/troubleshooting/failsafe_and_factory_reset#entering_failsafe_mode
When the SIM card is in the modem, the antenna lights are on; if not, then there are no lights.
you know openwrt have wifi disabled by default, right ?
overlay partition filled half-configuration. You need to clear it in failsafe mode. Check on luci's first page how much space /overlay has after reset and first boot.
I don't get anything from this page about resetting the modem. Can you please send a video?
You want it served with mayo or ketchup sir?
After firstboot ; reboot
device should come up right to the point you told you started to configure it.
to be clear.
you have a router, with a built in modem.
you're working with the router, not the modem, please use the correct terminology.
I have a TPLINK MR200 V1 modem that has router functionality.
It is other way around, you have MR200 router or access point that has modem module inside.
whatever floats your boat, but you're still not working with the modem...
ok,right please helpe me.
Please reset the device using firstboot and report back how much space you have in /overlay partition
Ideally you have 200kB free + 200kB used by config + 100kB to install auc and or zram-swap plus some megabyte if you want modem web interface config.
Alright, I will execute it and report back.
Did you reset, as described?
How do you fix things when the modem isn't recognized?
