Printer server, Extender and Access point in One device

Hi Team,

I currently have a TP Link TL-WR842ND with no GUI and have 2 questions

  1. Is there a chance to add the GUI to that device
  2. Do you recommend any device that can work as a: Printer server, Extender and Access point at the same time? Thinking on a Rasperry PI but would like your input

Depends on the version and flash size of your TL-WR842ND.

According to this website https://routerchart.com/tp-link/tp-link-tl-wr842nd-tl-wr842nd-335 it should be:
RAM
32 MB
Flash
8 MB

https://openwrt.org/supported_devices/432_warning is a serious problem for this device, while some of your requirements might be possible, all of them will overwhelm the hardware - which isn't formally supported (only 32 MB RAM) by OpenWrt anymore (even if images probably still exist, you will run into problems with memory requirements).

Thanks I get it, I have been tryin to restore it to a factory firmware but I am not able to start the router on failsafe mode the USB light never blinks... I am rally close tho just throwing the towel!!

Please follow the instructions in the device page for recovering your device, TP-Link has messed with their firmware formats quite a bit in recent times, so I'll refrain from giving potentially false advice for a device/ hardware revision I don't know myself.
