Good afternoon, alas, developers, I need your help , could you create a firmware for the tp link archer router with 6 v 2 so that the vpn protocol pptp would rise for 90 mb s bo when installing pptp , and if it does not allow you to accelerate the speed from above 60 mb s , this is if you put it cleanly
The Point-to-Point Tunneling Protocol is an obsolete method for implementing virtual private networks. PPTP has many well known security issues
I have no other option as a pptp protocol , I just need to understand why the speed is cutting , maybe someone from the developers will answer here and help solve the problem ?
Doubt someone will fix some performance issue, in an abandoned protocol for you.
Esp if the issue is with the kernel, or external package.
Do you know you're not maxing out your routers SoC?
so the main thing on the drain is the download speed, but there is no return, it does not cope)
I don't use PPTP now, but when I did, the only way I could achieve better download speeds was if I changed the PPTP interace MTU setting to 1420 (or thereabouts).
