PPPoE @ 1Gbps Confirmation

Hi,
I'm looking for confirmation on what routers can manage 1Gbps when using PPPoE? I've recently got FTTH and my long serving WRT1900ACS can only manage ~500Mbps when using PPPoE.

Reading through the forums I've found it difficult to confirm any router that will do PPPoE @ 1Gbps. For example, I've read both that the Belkin RT3200 does and doesn't manage this. The router doesn't have to do much other work mainly some form of adblock.

Thanks.

My Netgear WAX206 manages this, I'm behind a 1000/115 FTTH connection

Get a mini-PC x86 fanless machine.

I did consider using a mini-PC but then I need a WiFi access point, so now I have two devices. An all in one device is just easier to manage. Unless you there us a mini-PC where I can install OpenWRT and its ready to go.

They all are ready to go, unless you get something with only one ethernet port, and need to add one more.

If someone could point me at some suggestions on the mini-PC's. I should make it clear that I ideally want WiFi(ac) in the same device. However, if the Netgear WAX206 can do this and they are available for £84 that suits my needs

it's usually cheaper to buy an AP or a router, then try to get proper wifi running on the x86 platform.

start with the 206, convert it to an AP, and get an x86, if you discover it can't handle the traffic load.

Routers based on MT7621 SoC + hardware flow offloading.

Thanks for the suggestions I can confirm that both the Belkin RT3200 and the Netgear WAX206 manage PPPoE @ 1Gbps with hardware offloading.
