Potentially bricked MR90X (U-Boot)

I was attempting to install using the UBI Layout https://openwrt.org/toh/mercusys/mr90x_v1#installation_openwrt_u-boot_layout

I didn't have an internet connection while attempting the install, and I didn't see that in Step 20 it was required to install `kmod-mtd-rw'. I had run everything up until this step.

I then connected to my other network to download hte kmod-mtd-rw but on attempting to connect back to the router I was updating, I can no longer SSH into it. It always comes back as "Connection Refused" - I've tried all the LAN ports).

When I navigate to 192.168.1.1 I do see the recovery screen. I've tried flashing the original OEM firmware but no luck.

Anyone have any advice?

Have you tried connect the cable to another LAN port and then upload OEM fw?

Yeah. I've tried all ports. Also tried OEM firmware, but I believe I'm too far ahead in the uboot process for the OEM firmware to work.

My guess is I have to try UART and see what I can get from there. Was trying to avoid that.
